Chapter 48 LOTR
" I can already see it surpassing ' the hobbit'. " He said.
" I agree. I also received a copy but there could be some problems. " Donald also added.
" Problems? " Samuel asked.
" Yes, as a author you have to understand that reading sometimes can be a chore. The whole series is about thousand pages which could put off some poeple from picking up the series. "
" I believe anyone who is a fan of fantasy and epic high fantasy and world building novels will like it but the hard part about reading the trilogy is putting it down. There is a lot that happens and it is hard to stop reading and keep track of it. " Donald said.
" I can see your point " Samuel said.
" If I may add something, I agree with the assessment. The density of the lore is a little off-putting if it isn't your thing, but slogging through it is absolutely worth it to get to the awesome characters, groundbreaking fantasy storytelling, and overall enjoyableness. It is essentially a risk and reward system. Some may like it while others will fall midway through. " Thomas added.
" We could tweak it like adding more pictures to the book. We could contract the artist we previously used and add several sections in the middle of chapters to walk readers through the process." Samuel said.
" It is a good idea. With picture the people could better visualize different characters. " Thomas said, thinking about the idea.
" You my friend have lot of work ahead of you. But you have already made several important contacts in past few months which will make the work ahead easier. " Donald teased Thomas.
Samuel is also thinking about expanding his talent with the system's help; he already has the means to do it. He just has to acquire the skill. Many excellent illustrations depict the colorful world of middle earth.
Alan Lan and John Howard are both widely regarded as great LotR artists. Alan Lan illustrated many covers of Tolkien books, like Children of Hurin and Fall of Gondolin. In fact, Alan Lan and John Howard were both conceptual artists for the LotR films and The Hobbit films. They won a well-deserved Academy Award for their work in LotR.
Having reached significance as illustrators, Lan and John Howard were chosen to act as the lead artists of Peter's The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Lan illustrated many movie scenarios, including objects and weapons for the actors.
Samuel could embark on a new journey and follow their lead. The book has not existed in this reality, but with stored knowledge, he could already create masterpieces with a bit of skill. He made up his mind and voiced his opinion.
" Uncle Thomas, I would like to create few scenarios and painting for the trilogy. " He said.
" What? Do you even know how to draw? " Donald asked. Thomas is also confused by his sudden request.
" I can do it. Just give me time. We still have few months ahead of us before the first volume will be put to sale. Trust me on this. " Samuel said.
" Well, I don't see any harm in it. It's is not like we have to publish your works. With all due respect to your eagerness, we have to review it first before making a final decision. " Thomas added.
" Just do as you like, with all you have shown us; I am willing to support your endeavor. " Donald said. His permission is mandatory as he is the literally hidden boss of the whole Penguin publishing company.
Samuel nodded, and they began discussing another aspect of the book and discussing some improvements to better present the trilogy. They want it to be directed toward young adults who usually have short attention spans. They have to market it so they would be constantly engaged throughout the volume. There has to be a lingering expectation for the next release to make a smooth transition for the next volume.

After lunch, Amelia called for Samuel to discuss their future partnership. Samuel has to prepare for his audition, which requires different talents. They don't have much time before the audition starts, which will put much pressure on Samuel.
" Samuel, I already know that you are busy with your book but we only have about six months before the audition starts. " Amelia said with urgency.
" I know, Aunt; you said you have prepared a timetable for me. Please elaborate. " Samuel sits elegantly on the side with a cup of juice, slowly sipping.
Amelia admiring his demeanor, nodded in her mind. She has been observing him more carefully to formulate a plan.
" Samuel is perfect in his looks and demeanor. He is humble and quick-witted. He could pull it off with his hardworking personality, but his white hair could be a problem with the characters. I have not received any description for the charcters. He had to dye his hair but It will be a shame to do that. " she thought. The dilemma was eating her alive since she decided to take him under her wings.
" Aunt? Is there something wrong? " Samuel said.
" No,no, nothing, I am fine. " She sighed.
" Are you sure? " Samuel asked.
" Well, to tell you the truth, your hair could become problematic during the screening process. It will indeed limit the characters that you could play." Amelia said seriously.
" I don't mind it. I could dye it; it seriously stands out in a crowd which could prove to be annoying at the time, but it has never happened yet." Samuel said.
"Let's leave it for the moment. I have already found the perfect place for you to start. You have to work on your acting first, then you could take on singing and dancing, which will surely be helpful later down the line. But due to time constraints, you have to solely focus on acting. Institute has close ties to our family, which doesn't surprise me. I guess our family comes with a lot of perks. You could start next morning or as soon as possible. I will come with you and inspect it personally though It is only a formalarity." She said.
