Chapter 482 Parting-1

Chapter 482 Parting-1

" As I said, everything is fine. Elise is already out of danger so just sit this one out for me." He said over the phone.

" We are only worried about you man! No need to get work up about it. With concert over, Emma had been itching to depart back to England. You are coming back with us right?"

" I am not sure. There are still few things I need to take care of. We have to take a rain check on it."

" What about the other interviews? We still need to go to Japan and other Asian countries for promotion, right?" Emma said after taking the cell phone from Darren.

" We can't go without you. I don't know what's you are up to these days but after the VITA group fiasco, Studio would definitely press on you to be good in public." Rupert added. He was listening from the side, but when he heard Samuel would miss out on future interviews, it made him anxious.

They had to do it together, or else he was sure he would be pressed with hard questions, especially regarding the Paris incident with Samuel's arrest. It would be good if Studio cancelled the tour and let the incident fade slightly, but the release date was set. It was due in a few weeks; if they didn't do anything, there was a chance that the movie would tank!

" Just head home, I will take care of everything. I will put up few millions and ask the marketing team of my company to come up with few things."

" No matter what you do these things don't go away that easily. It is containable at the moment but when public learn about your real identity they will pile on you more than ever. Just think about it." Darren gave him a warning.

Being a celebrity was not easy; there were many instances where one had to compromise, but that wasn't the case with Samuel's background. Instead, it was more devious; such a situation was unprecedented, and no one knew how damaging it would be when his identity was revealed to the public.

Rothschild's family was an empire, and many thought it was too big to fail, but with what Darren had been hearing, some players were as powerful, if not more, than them. Samuel would need to be prepared when the storm finally hits!

" Alright, man, I will keep it in mind. Take care of the others and ask your butler to arrange a few guards around you for a few days. I don't know how up it goes, so it might take a few weeks for me to clear everything up." Samuel didn't tell him much but was grateful for his advice. It's not like he was not thinking about it himself, but he was happy to have such great friends.

" Okay."

" Come to see me when you land in London."

" Yeah, and if you need help call me anything you want."

After talking for a few more seconds, he hung up the call. He walked toward an empty chair in the back garden and sat down, contemplating a few things. He was thinking about today's event and what he was slowly becoming.

He had been training since he came here and couldn't deny that it made him more alive whenever he tested his limits. It led to several encounters when he had to kill someone, which sounded awful, but knowing he was taking care of trash made him feel content.

It was the same when he first witnessed what the gang members of 89th Street did and stopped it. His mind was filled with anger, and he almost lost control, but today, his mind was as clear as the blue sky.

He was more anxious than angry, but it was strange that he didn't lose his mind like usual. Being emotional meant that he somewhat related to those events, so if he didn't feel the same thing today, he was changing.

He obviously cared about Elise; just thinking about the time when he saw her scarred-ridden body made his blood boil, but at the same time, he was more rational than ever. Was he the same person when he started getting into fights?

" You are the same. I have been with you for the longest and I can attest to that. Conflicts are ever present in every world especially for the mortals who had to be in constant fear of death." Suddenly, Apollo spoke for the first time in a long time, catching Samuel off guard.

" Can you not do that? I told you countless time that it give me a mini heart attack everytime you pop up like this!" Samuel almost tumbled down to the ground.

" Don't say it like that, I already checked your heart is fine. Beside why are you mopping alone in the dark, everyone is still waiting for you. I have to say you outdid yourself this time! Two for one-"

" Fuck! I don't want to hear it old man. You should go back to sleep or something, everytime is the same with you. What's your obsession with my sex life anyway?" He cut Apollo off before he could say anything obscene.

" Alright, since you don't need me. I am going back but keep on the grind! It's your fate after all!"

" You really want me to die right? I have better things to take care of instead of picking up girls!" Samuel said the last part out loud, not knowing a few people were already standing behind him.

" Ahem.."

" Picking up girls? now I know what's his important work was!"

" So that's what he meant! I know they were all the same! Boys are pigs!"

Samuel turned around to find them staring at him with stern eyes. He could tell they were angry, but they completely misunderstood him! He had to do something to redeem himself!

" I was only talking with Darren about a new script. You know he is with Emma right? They are together so I have to contact him about it." He tried to make up something but failed miserably!

" Alright, hand me the phone."

" Shit!" Samuel cursed in his mind. He was screwed, so he had no reason to face it head-on! There was nothing he had to fear, right?
