Chapter 506 – Attempted Murder
Chapter 506 – Attempted Murder
“What have you done!” I yelled at Xiao Qin, “You made the entire class write a self reflection and the class leader already helped you out by not exposing you in front of everyone. Can you not even take a little criticism? In the end, you still only resort to violence?”
Although the incident of throwing chalk at the teacher’s head began with me, you should direct your grievances at me, there’s no need to take out your anger on the class leader. Compared to Xiao Qin, the class leader’s combat ability was at kindergarten level, she could easily oppress her and there was no need to use a wooden stick as a weapon.
It was Eunuch Cao who passed by this alley on his way home during lunch break. He saw the class leader lying in front of Xiao Qin, while Xiao Qin was holding a murder weapon with a dreadful look in her eyes. Eunuch Cao immediately scrambled out of there and reported it to me when he saw me on the food stall street.
“Master, something bad happened! Your wife went on a killing spree and she took out the class leader!”
I angrily rebuked Eunuch Cao for his nonsense, but he pointed at the alley while cowering and said:
“Master, there’s no way I would lie about that. If you move fast, the class leader’s body will still be warm, but it will turn cold if you’re late. Anyway, this is your family business, so I’ll get out of your way. Master, please take care.”
As I watched Eunuch Cao’s fat body disappear from my field of view, I was unsure and went to the place he pointed at to take a look and surprisingly, I really saw the scene he described.
Xiao Qin’s expression was as if she was recovering from a burst of violent anger and a gray ember was still lit in her eyes.
The wooden stick in her hand looked like a sawed-off wooden teacher’s pointer stick. A weapon often used by hooligans as a substitute for a softball bat. The advantage was that it didn’t cost anything, all you had to do was steal it from the school and wrap some bandages around the bottom for a better grip.
Did Xiao Qin pick up the weapon in the alley? As far as I know, some hooligans think they are clever by hiding weapons by walls. In case they meet their enemies, they can run towards the alley they are familiar with and look for the weapons while they run. Xiao Qin used to be the leader of the Rose Group, so she must have known about it. She could have easily guessed where a weapon was hidden with experience and taken it out to deal with the class leader.
But Xiao Qin didn’t need a stick to beat the class leader. Did she use a weapon to not leave behind any fingerprints?
“No, no.” Xiao Qin gradually calmed down from and explained to me in a trembling voice, “Ye Lin classmate, it’s not what you think. It was an accident, no one was supposed to get hurt.”
“An accident?” I said coldly, “Then what’s with the stick in your hand?”
Xiao Qin hesitantly twirled the stick, “This is...”
I was startled to see bloodstains on the tip of the stick.
Not only the stick, the stone floor was covered with tiny blood spatters. I didn’t notice it earlier because the sun was too bright.
“Did... did you have to be so vicious.” I felt like I was going to erupt with anger, “Are you going to kill the class leader? Since you have connections to the underworld, you can simply let your people deal with the corpse and you can rest easy.”
Xiao Qin’s slender arms trembled along with the stick in her hands.
“I... I’ve never thought that way.” The voice of the agitated Xiao Qin became sharper, “Why don’t you have any trust for me, sob sob....”
Tears are useless, this isn’t something that could be forgive by crying.
I dropped down and carefully checked the class leader’s injuries.
Her head didn’t have any obvious signs of bleeding, but it could have been covered by her hair.
I checked the class leader’s breath. Although it was slow and soft, it was relatively stable.
Then I put my hands on the class leader’s soft neck and felt her pulse. Her pulse was strong and it didn’t seem like her life was in danger.
I breathed out a sigh of relief and looked up to see Xiao Qin looking at me with teary eyes. I asked in a bad mood:
“Why are you still here? Do you want to finsih the job after you realized the class leader hadn’t died yet?”
After being repeatedly questioned, it finally exceeded the limit of her patience and she threw the stick to the ground and said exasperatedly:
“It’s not my fault, the class leader did more than what was necessary... she brought it on herself.”
She then turned around and ran away crying, but I didn’t chase after her. Attempted murder shouldn’t be encouraged and the class leader needed someone to take care of her.
I knew a bit of first aid, so I didn’t want to rashly move the class leader because I was afraid it would aggravate her injuries. There might be no obvious wounds, but we can’t rule out the possibility of a concussion.
Finally I decided to give a call to the school doctor, Chen YingRan. She might be a pervert, but her medical skills are excellent, and the class leader will not be taken advantage of by her since she was a girl.
Chen YingRan arrived quickly at the scene of the incident, much faster than I expected. It must have been tough running over in high heels.
Seeing the class leader lying motionlessly on the ground, Chen YingRan raised an eyebrow and asked directly: “Did you do it?”
“It wasn’t me!” I yelled at her, but saving the class leader was top priority. I let Chen YingRan to first check the class leader’s injuries.
Chen YingRan opened the class leader’s eyelids to check her eyes, then she felt her pulse and sighed, “It’s a shame...”
What, is it impossible to save her? No way, the class president is supposed to become a righteous police officer, how could she die before she even graduates? If that’s the case, isn’t Xiao Qin now a murderer? Who would have thought that this would be the result of writing a simple self reflection essay. What a screwed up butterfly effect.
Chen YingRan admired the look of horror on my face for a while before saying slowly: “It’s a shame there’s nothing wrong with her. It’s been too boring lately and I was hoping I would run into something exciting.”
Damn it, you scared me! If you want something exciting, my home has a lot of products that you can buy. I’m still worried about how the European and American models aren’t selling well.
Under Chen YingRan’s guidance, I carried the class leader back to the infirmary on my back. Inevitably, there were passersby, but luckily the majority of them recognized the school doctor and could guess what happened. None of them suspected I had bad intentions and was carrying the class leader to a bad place.
In my opinion, the infirmary where Chen YingRan molested countless shotas was a bad enough place.
It seems like you want to ask if I took advantage of the class leader when I had the chance?
There’s no way a man like me would take advantage of someone when they’re down. At most, I felt the class leader’s legs, but it was necessary contact for me to carry her back.
After I arrived at the infirmary and put the class leader on a bed, the first thing I did plug up my nosebleed with some medical cotton swabs. It had nothing to do with me taking advantage of the class leader, it’s simply because it was too hot outside!
Chen YingRan told me to leave just as I sat down beside the bed.
“Stop watching, go back to class and help your class leader request a leave of absence. Don’t let anyone come visit her, she needs to get some rest, got it?”
“I... I want to wait for her to wake up before I leave.”
Chen YingRan frowned and crossed her arms on her waist, “What, you don’t trust my medical skills, or you waiting for the good show?”
I didn’t understand, “What good show?”
Chen YingRan laughed and pointed to the class leader, “I’ll have to undo her bra to make her breathing more relaxed. Do you want to stand by and watch?”
I blushed and got up to take my leave, “Then I’m going back to class, give me a call if the class leader wakes up.”
“Got it, got it.” Chen YingRan shooed me away, then murmured, “Her breasts have developed, but she refuses to get a new bra. Wearing a smaller bra is likely to lead to oxygen deprivation.”
Huh, so was that one of the reasons why the class leader fainted? She refuses to throw away bras that have become too small because she’s frugal... Xiao Qin would defintely cry when she hears her worries.
Speaking of Xiao Qin, she was the main culprit and I’m not sure how she will act in class.
When I returned to class, Gong CaiCai was cleaning the blackboards. I asked her to tell the teacher that the class leader had taken a fall and was recovering in the infirmary and might be absent from the next class. Gong CaiCai was extremely worried for the class leader and wanted to go see her, but I stopped her because she needed sufficient rest.
When I returned to my seat, I discovered Xiao Qin’s seat was empty. I shouldn’t say I was surprised, she didn’t want to face me after what she had done.
My anger still hadn’t completely subsided, so I didn’t put much thought into where Xiao Qin went nor did I give her a call.
Xiao Qin had skipped an entire class. The teacher asked about it, but no one knew where she had gone.
Hmph, let her do a bit of self reflection. The class leader treated her as a friend, but she hurt her. It’s nasty behavior and even repenting in front of a wall for a month isn’t enough.
As soon as the bell rang, Xiong Yaoyue, who had learned in class that the class president had been injured, rushed to the infirmary impatiently. I couldn’t call her back, so I followed behind her.
In the end, Chen YingRan never let us in. She said that the class president was no longer unconscious, but she was still in a deep sleep and shouldn’t be disturbed. Xiong YaoYue and I reluctantly returned to the classroom. Gong CaiCai, Loud Mouth, and the others who followed behind us were also driven back together.
The second class was politics, I suddenly received a text message from Chen YingRan: “She’s awake, do you want to come over?”
I looked at Xiao Qin’s seat that was still empty. In order to clear up some suspicions, I had to talk to the class leader, so I raised my hand and said, “Teacher, I want to go to the washroom.”
The political science teacher was surprised and fearfully allowed it.
After leaving the classroom, I walked straight to the infirmary.
