Chapter 692 'Choice'

Somewhere in Camsun, more than ten thousand meters above the surface, a burning humanoid existence found itself in front of six Lesser Gods.

The humanoid existence was only a Demi God but it looked unscathed as blue blazing flames exuded from all over its body. It looked at the several injured and half-burned Lesser Gods, who originated from two rivaling alliances, and smiled lightly.

Dilan was the being, who looked like Hellrider, just that his body released blue flames that originated from the Flame of the Beginning.

Not even half a day had passed since he left the flying island but he had found himself in the midst of a battle that was supposed to be between the leaders of the two rival alliances.

However, Dilan intervened without hesitation, unleashing his azure flames, nearly burning everyone to death.

He formed Oricalm into a longsword and executed the first slash of the 72 Slashes of Destruction Sword Style without hesitation. The Destruction Sword Slash forced the six Lesser Gods to separate from one another, otherwise, they would have died without a way to resist the terrific might of Dilan\'s slash.

He expected that but it was not like he had ended his demonstration with that. He had unleashed a miniature sun above the Lesser Gods, increasing the surrounding temperature drastically while attracting the attention of the Lesser Gods.

The miniature sun was azure blue in color and extremely large. Yet, it moved only slowly downward, slow enough for the Lesser Gods to evade.

However, Dilan stopped the movements of the miniature sun altogether.

"I won\'t kill you, or destroy the territory you\'ve fought for. I just wanted to get your attention," Dialn said calmly before the azure miniature sun disappeared.

At the same time, Dilan disappeared and he appeared on the other side of the Lesser Gods. They didn\'t even notice that Dilan had passed by them, let alone that he had gotten hold of a weapon that looked just like theirs…

Looking down their hands, the Lesser Gods realized that the weapons levitating around the Azure Hellrider did not only look like theirs but that those weapons were actually theirs, to begin with!

"How…" One of them asked in a stupor. He completely forgot that they had been in an epic battle with their rival alliance and that it was supposed to be their final battle, the fight that decided who was going to continue living and who was bound to die today.

It was supposed to be the battle that decided the fate of the two territories and races…

However, all of that didn\'t matter anymore, not with the appearance of the Azure Hellrider, a being at the fifth Tier, but with the power and speed of an existence that was far stronger.

The six Lesser Gods didn\'t know what Dilan was going to do to them, who he was, or what he planned to do to their races.

If he intended to eradicate their races, the six Lesser Gods were willing to sacrifice their life as long as they could stop the Azure Hellrider.

"There is no need to show me your hostility, I just wanted to show you how strong I am, while I am merely a Demi God," Dilan explained just as calmly as before.

He used the winds around him to return the weapons to their original wielder before he added a few pieces of information to the somewhat shallow explanation he had given the confused Lesser Gods.

"Just for the records, I used less than 20% of my true power, and I will reach the peak of the sixth Tier in the next four years," Dilan added to the confusion of the Lesser Gods before he cleared his throat accessing six shards that looked just like translucent crystals.

Fragments of his memories had been imprinted in the shards and Dilan threw each of them to one Lesser God.

"I think that it will be easier to show you my memories instead of explaining the problem we will face in the near future."

When the six Lesser Gods looked at the memory shards they felt a little bit complicated. During the short period one accessed a memory shard, one was completely unprotected against external attacks. It was difficult for the Lesser Gods to trust their rivals, let alone the Azure Hellrider.

"I won\'t force you to take a look at the memories but it\'s definitely in your favor. If you guys didn\'t know about it yet, the first Veil was born a year ago, and the memories are related to this, one way or another," Dilan explained before he manifested the Azure Miniature Sun out of nowhere once again.

"Furthermore, I can just kill you if I want to. I don\'t exactly need to resort to petty tricks to lower your defense… Don\'t worry about your rivals either. I won\'t let alone kill each other right now!"

Dilan didn\'t force the Lesser Gods to watch his memories but he showed them clearly that he was strong enough to kill them without any tricks. At the same time, one could say that it was reassuring to hear that he would protect them while their guard was lowered.

Thus, the six Lesser Gods ended up inserting mana inside the memory shards before their eyes turned milky white. Memories flooded their mind and half a minute passed.

During that half a minute, the Lesser Gods started to sweat profusely and they breathed roughly the moment they regained their senses. Digesting the information, they turned over to Dilan, whose appearance was still that of the Azure Hellrider.

"What the hell was that?!" One of the Lesser Gods asked, his voice filled with fear and uncertainty.

Memories stored in memory shards couldn\'t be faked. Even if that didn\'t mean the memories stored inside the memory shards were Dilan, they belonged to someone…and that was more than enough.

"That\'s the future, or what was prophesied to happen in the future. I know that it\'s a lot to ask for but I hope you guys can be of help to change the future with me. Though I\'m not sure how easy that will be considering that quite a few nuisances are after me…"
