Chapter 354 - You Must Apologize to Daddy (2)
It had been hard for Feng Tianyi to ignore the empress when all he wanted to do was to kiss her, trap her beneath him and remind her that she was his, but he wouldn\'t, he couldn\'t.
Tang Moyu needed to understand where he was coming from and what it truly meant to be in a relationship. Ignoring her was one of the toughest things Feng Tianyi had to do in his life. He had intended to give her an earful about the dynamics of their relationship, but he thought a little space between them for the meantime should be good.
Feng Tianyi had never thought he could be this clingy and possessive over a woman. He used to stay away from his overly dramatic girlfriends, but he realized he was starting to act like one right now.
Karma was probably laughing at him right now. It must be his punishment to suffer the same fate he subjected his previous girlfriends to, before Tang Moyu walked into his life.
Would this mean that Tang Moyu would eventually get tired of him and break up with him? He shook his head. No. He would never allow that to happen! It hadn\'t been easy for him to win the empress\'s heart. There was no way in hell would he allow their relationship to end just like that.
Still, Feng Tianyi forced himself to act normal in front of their children, not that she was aware of this fact. He intended to inform Tang Moyu on her 30th birthday in a few weeks.
Once done with dinner, he left Tang Moyu with the little buns and took a shower, readying himself for bed. However, what the devil hadn\'t anticipated was the little buns were aware of the silent treatment he was giving their mother.
"Mommy, are you and Daddy fighting?" Little Star asked Tang Moyu when the empress tucked them in their bed inside their room, across Feng Tianyi\'s.
"No, darling. What made you think that we are fighting? Your Daddy Ji must have been tired. That\'s all." Tang Moyu hadn\'t expected her little buns to be very perceptive regarding the tension between her and Feng Tianyi. She didn\'t even know what caused it.
Xiao Bao shook his head and sat up on the bed. His cute handsome face was marred with a deep frown, like a mini a.d.u.l.t who wasn\'t pleased about something.
"No, Mommy. We think Daddy is upset with you. Please, Mommy. If you did something wrong, you must apologize at once! Little Star and I don\'t want to lose Daddy. What if he doesn\'t forgive you and starts to hate us too?"
The empress furrowed her brows in confusion. Who in the world put such thoughts in her adorable twins? Anyway, how could she apologize when she didn\'t even know what she did wrong?
"That\'s impossible, darling. You should know that your Daddy Ji won\'t ever hate you. Even if he is mad, he would be mad to me, not you."
"Then, Mommy. You should apologize. We can\'t lose our daddy." Little Star\'s eyes started to brim with tears.
Tang Moyu didn\'t miss the sadness in her daughter\'s voice. She gently wiped Little Star\'s tears with the back of her forefinger and hushed her. She needed to make it clear to her little buns not to mistake Feng Tianyi as their real daddy.
Were they expecting that she and Feng Tianyi would get married someday?
"But darling, you must not mistake your Daddy Ji as your real father, he is not—"
However, she wasn\'t able to finish her words as her son had cut her off.
"No, Mommy! You are the one who doesn\'t understand! Daddy Ji is our daddy! Only he could be our daddy!" Xiao Bao exclaimed.
The empress was surprised by her son\'s outburst. It was rare for Xiao Bao to react strongly over something. Her little boy was pouting, briefly reminding her of Feng Tianyi scowling earlier.
Had the two spent too much time with each other to the point that they had started to pick up each other\'s habits? She was starting to notice some similarities between Baobao and Feng Tianyi, but there was this feeling she couldn\'t pinpoint.
Was their need to have a father figure in their lives that strong, that the moment Feng Tianyi earned their approval, it was impossible for her twins to understand that he wasn\'t their real father?
"Please, Mommy. He\'s our daddy. We don\'t want to see you fighting and arguing. Talk to Daddy, okay? Auntie Lu said it\'s not nice going to bed being angry with someone." Little Star chimed in, helping her twin brother. They were really partners in crime, always had each other\'s backs.
Little Star didn\'t want to see their daddy and mommy arguing. Wasn\'t that one of the reasons why some of their classmates\' mommies and daddies got divorced? Their mommy and daddy hadn\'t even gotten married yet. She and her Yu Gege wouldn\'t allow them to break up!
"Fine. I promise. I\'ll talk to him, but you don\'t need to worry about us, okay? It\'s mommy\'s job to be worried about the two of you."
Tang Moyu supposed that talking and clearing up things with Feng Tianyi wasn\'t a bad idea after all. They were already a.d.u.l.ts who should be open minded to solve their own problems.
Since her twins had also asked her to do it, Tang Moyu didn\'t have the heart to deny her little buns\' wishes. If talking would be able to clear things up between her and Feng Tianyi, as well as give her twins a peace of mind, she would do it.
