Chapter 105 Wind from the west is about to blast
She was holding a knife.
Against Xiao Li\'s hands!
A damned knife!
"It wouldn\'t hurt you, right? Xiao Li," her voice shook as he wrapped his fist around the knife.
"Just move the knife already or give it to me," Han Li licked his lips and said.
No matter what, growing stronger was addicting.
Liyue and Li Yao were surrounding them and looking at his palm with bright eyes. Would it really work?
Yue Li took a deep breath, and understanding she was ready, Han Li unwrapped his fist. She started to cut it gently, but nothing happened, and Han Li mockingly laughed.
Curious, she used a bit more force, and nothing happened again.
"Quite tough." Her eyes sparkled as she began to move with more and more force, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn\'t do anything other than leave a small mark on it, which she easily rubbed off.
"Wow, Big Brother Han." Liyue touched his arms and felt the rigidity of his skin, "So, can no one at the Awakening stage like us hurt you anymore?"
Han Li nodded thoughtfully.
"I am similar to an Average Talent Transformation Cultivator at the Evolution Stage regarding the skin now, and to hurt me would be the same as trying to hurt them. So, yes, sharp weapons of the Awakening Stage cannot do anything to me. Yep, I am almost invincible to Awakened now. No matter how many came, I doubt they could harm me."
Impressed, Liyue nodded.
Thinking about a bunch of Awakened like Li Ming trying to surround her big brother, only to be swatted away like flies… she smiled.
On the other hand, Li Yao poked him on places like his joints to see how flexible they were. Similarly impressed, she whistled.
Had she not already asked against it, Han Li would\'ve surely thrown a sexual joke now. Sad.
"Evolved…" Han Li pondered the question curiously. "Average Proficiency in sharp weapons would struggle to hurt me now, even if I was dumbly going to let their swords hit me, but Highly Proficient can hurt me quite easily. And an Evolved master of a weapon like a knife or a sword? They can easily cut me apart."
"What about Evolved, boy, can they hurt you?" Li Yao asked, trying to scratch him with her nails only to fail miserably as her nails started to hurt.
And he wouldn\'t even have a way to heal like the actual Transformation types.
"Really, if it were me, I would just grow confused with my own strength," Li Yao shook her head. "There is a saying, Han Li, boy, always know yourself before fighting enemies; have, in other words, a perfect understanding of yourself before you head out to fight."
Han Li nodded with a smile.
In their mind, he was just a child.
"So what is the next plan? Is there training today?" Yue Li asked, ready to train. She didn\'t want to be weak anymore. She wanted to conquer her laziness and hopelessness; she wanted to regain at least some of her confidence back.
"Of course, we won\'t be skipping training anymore, but Liyue already trained enough for the day, and you and Li Yao—"
"Mother-in-law," Li Yao interrupted.
"Anyway, Mom, you and mother-in-law are the only ones remaining to train. You can train on the knife like usual, and Mother-in-law, you just have to do the basic exercises I gave earlier."
"What about Liyue?" Li Yao asked curiously, blinking innocently.
"Liyue? Of course, she has to cook your food."
Li Yao chuckled while Yue Li shook her head. She wouldn\'t lie; she wasn\'t yet entirely back to not feeling jealous about Liyue at all, but there was a lot of improvement after the earlier situation.
She only felt jealous now and not any resentment. That meant her heart was going back to normal.
Liyue smiled with a blush and looked aside, but she wasn\'t really ashamed at all. Why would she be ashamed of doing naughty things with her own man?
Her mother rolled her eyes.
Then, the mother duo went out with their tools to begin their play training till the time arrived to eat, and the quirkier one among them shouted while on the way out: "The food better be as good as the honey thingy, you brats, but I don\'t want sweet. Make it hot. Goes well with a good bottle of my secret drinks. And tone down on the games a bit while in the kitchen."
Their shadows vanished behind the door.
Shaking his head, Han Li looked at Liyue and said with a sigh, "They really are so unproductive. Never doing their work… maybe we need to do something about it…"
Now that he thought about it, his body really needed to have a fight or two to get into action. It was too languid now, very turned off. He had to go kill something or at least fight something of his equal might to get his body to its peak response.
He has to wake it up.
"Big brother, I had a doubt," Liyue suddenly asked, holding his hand. He smiled at the confident gesture and asked, "Go on, the beautiful lady there."
Really, Liyue\'s beauty was starting to shine on her face a bit too. Having trained and bathed already with the smell of flowers on her now, along with her dark hair that had grown to reach her butt… she was now quite beautiful.
"Why is it that when I move with a spear, one thing grows extremely clear while all the other things vanish?" she had practiced a bit earlier, and she just couldn\'t focus.
Han Li was surprised and then stared at her confused black eyes. "What is this thing you are talking about like?"
"Hmm… let me think." Her face grew thoughtful while Han Li gently caressed her cheeks. She comfortably puffed it up like a cat, and he pinched.
Cringing in a bit of pain, she held his hand and looked at him with a student\'s gaze. "It is like looking at a firefly in the dark, and all else seems not to exist." n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
Han Li leaned down and pressed his forehead against hers. "You can\'t fathom how attractive you now seem to me. Should I just go at it, Liyue?"
Liyue looked into his eyes, and an electric charge began to build up between them. "Why don\'t you just go at it? I am ready…" she whispered.
Han Li kissed her. She enjoyed the kiss for a long time before licking her lips off the bridge of saliva that connected them and asking, "Big Brother, are you still waiting for my Heart of Cultivation thing to form?"
Han Li looked at the girl who had already grown attached to him and couldn\'t help but feel the want to protect her. To make her more than what she was meant to be.
"I am. Don\'t you want to wait till you\'re sure?"
"…" she remained silent and looked at his crimson eyes.
After a while, she caressed his face and embraced it. "Big Brother Han, I don\'t really know what my heart is, but I do know I can never see another man like I see you. I know that I cannot… bear to part with what our family now is."
"So?" Han Li gently questioned.
"… so…" she lingered for a while before speaking into Han Li\'s ears, "It is about time you do what you do to our mothers to me too."
Han Li felt his heart skip a beat and looked at her with his sparkling gaze. "No marriage?"
"…I want a marriage." She looked at his face with hopeful eyes.
Throughout the past few months she had known him, he had accepted almost all her requests—which amounted to one: asking for sweet food. Nevertheless, he had overall cared for her, and he was more than just her fiance. He was also her master in the spear.
She admired his sword skills.
She admired his knife skills.
She admired his spear skills.
She… loved it when he gently teased her…
She was repulsed by the thought of other men.
She admired his confidence.
She wanted to go past simple naughtiness already. He had been teasing her for too long.
And she was quite sure now that she had a place in his heart. For some reason, even though he seemed very mysterious still, there was a sense of connection and acceptance she felt. Like her mom said, she was growing in him like he did on her.
"Let\'s marry," Han Li nodded with a smile. "I\'ve never married anyone before, so let\'s make it grand."
Liyue\'s heart started to thump, and she held his clothes tight. Her eyes started to shine like the starlight, and she looked at his face.
"…When?" she asked, feeling all the courage start to leave her as her voice trembled.
"Hmm, let\'s marry each other as soon as Mom\'s heart heals. It should be soon. I am waiting to fulfill a promise to her, so I should complete it first before we decide on a date for this. But I believe it should happen soon, a month or two at best, and…" he teased her lips with his and said with a smile, "…we would finally marry."
She swallowed as her face reddened.
Han Li shook his head with the same smile. Such ceremonies hardly mattered to him, but if she cared about it, he might as well let her have her fun.
But he looked towards the west with a smile. \'It is about time that happened, too.\'
