" Ladies, I don\'t think we have time for this. Why don\'t we continue this when you come back? I have something special planned for this week." Samuel crawled himself out of the pit. He may have lost his towel but he was more worried about being sticky all over again.

" Is that why we didn\'t get any christmas gifts?" Mayra also felt that it was no fun if he was not on the bed. She stretched herself grabbing the wet towel to go for a bath. Kayla did need some more convincing but with her pulling on her hair, she was up too leaving Kate to squirm around the whole bed.

" Do you want something?"

" Why not? It\'s our first christmas together."

" Alright, I have something in mind but it would take few months so look forward to it."

" Che, cheapskate. I will let aunt Laura know that her son can\'t even give us one simple gift!" Kayla chimed in. She had gotten a lot closer to everyone, garnering their love and attention because of her free personality.

If Mayra was a refined lady, Kayla was like the spunky cool daughter that they always wanted. They also commended her profession of being in law enforcement which was not easy because it was a labour intensive job.

" Simple gifts are easy. Buy an expensive dress would be enough but I wanted for you to have a full blown experience. It\'s also not easy because you don\'t get many leaves, I promise it would be something extraordinary and you don\'t even have to fly out of Paris for it." He stated.

" You are forgetting that we lived in that city all our life. There is not a place that we didn\'t visit."

" Let\'s go. We don\'t have time for it. I promised them I will be there before lunch." Mayra urged Kayla to follow her. They dashed to the restroom to freshen up. Samuel finished drying up seeing Kate laze around on bed.

She was trying hard to go back to sleep but it was impossible with laughing and squealing coming from the restroom. She realized that she was getting old, younger girls just have so much more energy.

It was evident after what happened last night. She felt like dying trying to compete with them. She did manage to hold on but now she was feeling her body falling apart with all the fatigue.
