She hesitated for a second until, Sjors rubbed her head against her palm again. Seeing it stare intently at her was terrifying but also calming for some reason. It didn\'t seem like a bad choice and since Samuel was there, she ultimately decided to give it a try.

" I promise, you will not regret it. Here." He lifted her up after getting her permission and help her get into good position. She looked like a child while on top because of the size difference. He told her to keep grabbing on to her neck and to never pull the hair.

She looked at him to see there was something wrong with how he was grinning back at her. It was unfortunate she didn\'t get to ask why because the horse started moving. It was bumpy to saw the least but she held on like he asked her to do.

Sjors trotted slowly which made her pull down her guard thinking it wasn\'t so bad. They were moving slowly with Samuel at the front.

" Since you are doing so great how about we increased the speed."

" I think this is fine-"

" Kate, I said it will be fine. Beside, we are here to have some fun right?" He looked back at her giving her a smirk. Her mind went blank at first but she immediately realised that there was something very wrong with it.

Before she could say anything, Samuel whispered something to Sjors after which Kate felt the horse move up. Sjor stood on her hind legs taking a magnificent pose while Kate held on for her dear life still trying to process what was going on.

Next thing she knew, she was whizzing past the field screaming at top of her lungs.

" You motherfucking bastard, wait wait! Stop! Slow down!"

" What I can\'t hear you properly?"

" BASTARD!" She screamed.

For next several minutes, Kate didn\'t care about anything except cursing at Samuel and keeping herself alive. Although Samuel was trying to get back at her, it\'s not like he didn\'t care about her safety.

Sjors was only running at twenty percent her capacity with Samuel running beside her ready to catch her in she fall. Kate wasn\'t able to see it because she had her eyes closed fearing that if she opened it she would be scared and fall down.

In the end, she did fall but he was there to watch her.

" How was the ride?" He asked with the same smugness on his face.

" You fucker!" She leaped down and started bashing his chest but her legs gave out because she was too scared, making her fall right into his arms. He started his ass off while she struggled to got out of his clutches.

" Is that how young people show their love these days by scaring each other to death?" One staff asked.

" You can\'t blame her. Everyone is the same after meeting him for the first time." While peanut gallery was busy admiring the scene, Samuel manage to calm her down.

Even Sjors came and bowed her head like she was apologizing for what she did which made Kate berate Samuel even more. It was true that these horses seemed to listen to him but that doesn\'t mean he could just made them do these type of pranks!

After the little fiasco, they headed to the main mansion. She wanted to have the small bento that Nicole prepared for them but Samuel asked her that he would ask the chefs to heat it up because it was almost lunch time.

Since they had a prior arrangement it was not good for them to keep others waiting. Kate reluctantly agreed, she didn\'t know what it was but she was only going there to meet the remaining family members.

After reaching the entrance, he led her inside where Grayson was. He asked him to take care of her and show her around while he met up with others. The mansion was huge so it would take sometimes for the tour before meeting back at the dinner table.

Grayson happily agreed since Samuel asked him to do it. He was much more attentive and listened to him after what happened with Elise. They left while he headed upstairs toward the meeting room.
