Chapter 253: Blood Warlock (2)
"Good, see you later Godon!" Seth said and walked back to his hotel. The first thing he did was to use the remnant bark and leaves left to craft many containers and infused dragon aura by inserting dragon scales.
He had realized none of the dragon material had been stolen, they might have appeared heavy or hot to their touch. Seth then placed the remaining items inside and stored them away.
"I will seek the chief but also hunt Gordon and his group silently!"

Seth went to the market to gather more information and one thing that became addictive to him was his Chronicle Writings, the desire to write all his actions and others\' actions grew in him.
Using it, he found that upon entering the city, some people tailed guests secretly, their intentions were unknown and they were well hidden.
Seth also bumped into the Warlock many times but the man has become increasingly more busy and worried.
Seth stared at the seven maps he managed to get, they included all the different Sanctuary neighbouring the city. Each has its speciality, but the most important ones were Stonecrafter City, Metalforge City, Garden Of Eden City and Panacea City. The name was self-explanatory, Stone and rock, Metals, Farms Forest and healing are specialized.
Garden Of Eden was the strongest of them and Rumors have it that they control half of Gawee Continent.
Seth vowed to visit each one but he got what was stolen from him first. He already has a lead. With his cloak, and his handwriting, he followed a man, he seemed unassuming and wore tattered clothes but his eyes were reptilian.
His steps were laboured, as he groaned from time to time, looking around for scrutiny. Seth hid to avoid the man\'s eyes on him.
As he wrote the main action, another form of writing kept indication that invisible people are tailing him and they have a desire to obtain something from him.
And in one sentence Seth read that they have started trying to take the thing from the man.
The man was a wanderer, he reached the city that day and was trying to find a place to stay. But he felt he was being followed and couldn\'t trust anyone else. He had visited four inns but he left because he couldn\'t feel safe.
That was until he reached a big hotel that came off as luxurious, he went inside and got a room. Seth wanted to sneak in but his Aura sight showed him that the hotel was well protected using inscription.
So, he went in too and got a room. Conveniently close to the man\'s room. He went there but met with the man glaring at him. Seth ignored him and entered his room before he locked the door.
The man sighed, opened his room and entered, he used Gawee Beast Core to fuel the room protection.
Seth was peeking at him using the Aura sight from behind the wall. Though he can only see the man\'s aura.
The man removed his tattered clothes, inside was shining armour but there was a wound on his chest, close to his heart. The man with a groan removed the chest plate, the wound was black and there was slime sucking his blood.
He spread salt and the slime slipped out while also he put another slime in the wound which continued what the first slime was doing.
After resting, he placed a box made of wood with a complicated design on it on the table before he brought out a slug. The slug wiggled in defiance but it was shoved inside the wound.
The man trembled and groaned in much pain but held on as he stared at the box, his bright blade in hand. But the pain was so much that he blinked, and that was the opportunity, the box vanished.
Even in pain, the man in shining armour moved fast and slammed his shield, a moment showed him that the box became ethereal and vanished.
But whatever the slug was doing was too much and the man fainted down. Seth kept watching the man and didn\'t leave.
An hour later the man woke up, the wound was healing and a dead purple slime slid out.
The injury was designed to eat him from the inside but using the slime and slug he was able to suck the venom away.
He wore his breastplate and dashed out, now he was angry and also terrified of what happened. He didn\'t stop there; he went directly to the chief mansion.
Seth left the next day with an understanding of the thief\'s nature and aura. Hunting it was not ideal until they revealed themselves.
Seth went to the gate and found a place to kill time, soon a group of hunters came in. The moment they entered the Chronicles showed they were being tailed by the invisible.
Seth disguised and followed them but he saw the leader stop and look at him, "Do you want anything?"
"Yes, I sell this. Are you interested!" Seth showed him some edible leaves he was left with.
"Marketing products here are not allowed, you should go to the marketplace, buy a ticket and get a stall!" The man ordered, still suspicious.
"It\'s not easy getting the ticket, you know!" Seth said, he had heard others say that.
"Here, this is a permit, go and set it!" The man gave Seth a piece of paper. Seth became silent before he took it and turned to leave, looking back he saw the men were still waiting for him to depart.
He then increased his pace, came to the market, got a stall, spread what remained of what he had and waited.
He recognised the man, he was an elder in the city and the man recognised Seth as the man who brought the dragon items to the city. That was why the exchange went smoothly or else, Seth would have been arrested.
It\'s after he sets a stall that Seth comes to his senses, he just did what was commanded to him with no qualms, what about his investigation of marauders?
He opened his Chronicles book and found a sentence that told him he was charmed to stop being a suspect and become a seller. While also, that caused the invisible thieves\' plan to be squandered.
Seth\'s heart skipped a beat and he frowned, with an aura sight he looked at himself, nothing was there. He became enlightened.
Yesterday, he learned that the marauders are complicated ability users, from a distance they can steal items but when that item is too far away, they never show themselves, but become a spectra-like form and hide within a person\'s body.
The spectre hid inside one of the hotel workers\' hotel and as she passed by the man in the shining armour room, they tried to steal the box but failed until the man was in too much pain but by then the worker, carrying the spectre, was at the reception and it felt the weakening of the man\'s defence.
At that moment, the object was stolen but it didn\'t move to the spectre rather the object vanished when it was under the sky.
Another thing Seth recognised was that the person carrying the spectre could be influenced to do certain actions.
For example, the maid passed the man\'s room more than five times for no reason until she snapped back wondering what she was doing.
Seth, himself, has become obsessed with stalking people. "Oh," at that moment, he remembered he bumped into the woman, that was the maid when he first got into the hotel.
Seth looked around, he had not touched anyone on his way here.
He pulled out a random knife, with the intent to stab his hand but he stopped, he might not be possessed but possibly the spectre hid within his attire or something.
Instead of attacking, under his cloak, he began writing, I figured out the spectre might be in me and definitely he would make a mistake that would reveal his true nature.
Writing that, Seth waited before he allowed his hand to write about people\'s activity. He immediately comprehended that the spectre had long left his body when he left to perform the command of the elder.
Seth packed the stall away and went back to the gate. In an hour, ten people carrying a dead body in a coffin come back. He began tailing them while writing. Within he learned that the invisible people were tailing the unsuspecting men with a desire to steal something.
Seth wrote and it was at this moment that they made a mistake and revealed their true form. It was fleeting but the true aura of the spectre erupted and Seth saw it.
At that moment, he felt weak, and his desire to document chronicles became zero. In fact, he wanted to throw the book away but put the book away and then tailed the men till they reached the healer\'s building before he went and set his stall.
An hour later, Seth became normal. He brought the book out with a smile, in it was written.
[You have compelled a possible Outcome]
The outcome was written in glowing red. It\'s one of the many possibilities for anyone to make a mistake.
Seth Chronicles just shook up something. "Interesting!" Seth remembered that he had used this hidden skill before when he predicted the tripping of a man in a hurry and bumping into someone with a superior bloodline.
Seth got an idea from it and now made use of it again.
Can he compel the chief to meet him? But somehow he comes to know that if he cannot meet the chief, he will never meet him.
But Seth has a plan. He packed the stall away and went around the city looking for someone, not anyone he knew but the thief. night cane and sunrise still searching. Exertion Stat made him wireless if he was exerting himself.
Seth came to a school where kids study, he was hungry when he saw the glimpse of the aura he was looking for.
He slipped through the school and met a child, 4 years old with that aura. He was obviously, just busy singing with his teacher.
He checked the chronicle, and it was confirmed, he found the ability source, which confused him more but Seth had not come this far to stop. He hid and watched the boy while also documenting everything.
Around the time of school end, he solved the mysteries. He sneaked out and left. This was bigger than he anticipated.
The boy was innocent but he was being used by a hidden power of the city.
Seth set his stall, but this time he bought wood logs, large stones and clay. He began sculpting something. After he finished that, he draped them with a large curtain. For the whole day, used his time to infuse it with the Aura of dragons.
By just passing, one can feel the intimidation coming from the draped sculpture. The next day, people began asking him what was inside but he refused to tell but offered to sculpt them or their favourite animals.
In just a short time, he sculpted many people and also by infusing their aura inside, it became more like them and they felt a connection with it. Business bloomed.
Inside his chronicle he wrote, one day in the next few days, the chief will pass by here and I will attract his attention using this sculpture.
After three days, Seth was just sculpting a dragon for a kid, he felt as if he had woken up. He also felt a single desire and that was removing the curtain he covered the sculptures. He didn\'t resist and he pulled it away.
A magnificent statue of Blood Warlock, standing on a pyramid of stone, on his hand was a baby red dragon and on top of his other hand was floating blood.
The body of the warlock emitted a soothing energy that made people want to come closer but the dragon emitted a heat aura that pushed people away.
The blood floating on the chief left hand gave an eerie and also strangely comforting feeling to the people. They stared in trance before the might of the blood warlock.
At that moment, Seth felt a gaze landing on him, the gaze seemed to want to pry him open and glean his secrets.
Moments later, guards came and captured him and seized the statue away from the gaze of the people.
∆∆∆
In the cell, he spent only two hours before he was guided to the mansion to meet the chief.
Inside his office were the ten dangerous men, the chief\'s personal guards, then the man in shining armour. He was furious and he stared daggers at Seth.
"You have 2 minutes to convince me why you attract my attention!" The lord said, he doesn\'t even have an aura.
"Greetings, my name is…?"
"Seth Enoch… I know who you are, Lord of Root Village!" Blood Warlock said.
"Oh, okay!" Seth\'s gaze left the warlock and that provoked the lord more but he ignored it, "I know who stole your box!" He said to the man in shining armour.
"What? You do?" The man stood, his eyes went in shock before he looked at the chief. He was surprised too
"If we are not lucky, I will die and you will die too. Because what I discovered went deep. Well, let us die together!" Seth said. Before he brought out a painting and gave it to the man. In it were his findings.
The man in a shining armour gaze shifted from the painting to one of the guardsmen.
"Is this a joke?" The warlock growled, his true nature leaked and that made Seth slam on the floor, if not for his shifting armour activating he would have been smashed to paste.
But the warlock was not a simple man or an idiot. He looked at the suspect Guard and said, "Sp££k πruth!"
The guard resisted for a moment before his body exploded in blood.
However, that was when things went more grimm under the watch of the unsuspecting Chief.
Among his guards, three made their move, they were fast, and their blades flashed with green energy. One attacked the squashed Seth, the other one went for the shining armour, and the last for the chief.
Sliiiiik!
The sound of a blade being removed from a sheath entered everyone\'s ears, and then the three had their hands and legs decapitated and their body pinned to the walls and lost consciousness.
It was the man in shining armour.
"I can\'t allow you to soil your hand, Lord Crimson!" The man said.
Seth stood, shimmering blood around him, blood he took control to protect himself but it wasn\'t needed.
"Ah, my head is still on its neck!" Seth exclaimed, "I really need to learn how to fight!" He was amazed by that shining armoured man.
He then looked at the 6 guards, their eyes were blank as if they were dead but then they came alive, "Clean the place and squeeze them to speak the truth!" Blood Warlock growled
They didn\'t question his order and commenced with it. The animosity toward Seth didn\'t reduce but increased. "There are 20 seconds left!"
"What? I mean I have this!" And pushed 20 oval moons. And that softened the chief\'s look, he took them away, "You get yourself 2 hours!" Find your next read at мѵʟ
Seth wanted to laugh in annoyance but held it in and looked at the man, "Can you buy me more time with him?"
"Yes, Seth Enoch but can we trust you!" He asked. "You know my name, that\'s enough trust!" Seth means he is more trustworthy since they know him than the Shining Armour man.
"Where is my manners? I\'m called Vincet Gerald, a knight of the Garden Of Eden!"
Seth bowed a bit, "Greeting, Sir knight!" He said, then brought out a book with detailed sketches in it.``in it is everything I discovered about the marauder. But I want something, a box of mine was stolen. Very important to me."
He then explained what was inside and its usage.
Sir Vincent Gerald read through the book with a frown before he gave it to the chief. The man\'s expression becomes darker before he makes a list and hands it to the knight, "kill them all!"
The knight of the Garden Of Eden strode out, and in 30 minutes, a hundred heads rolled down and thousands of items were found in stores.
While that was happening, Seth was trying to convince Blood Warlock to infuse a bloodline in him.
"I don\'t have time for that right now. Ask something else!" The man said. Seth had shown all of the dragon parts he had, from scales to tongue, to antenna. Seth even showed him his painting skills but the man wasn\'t budging.
"I have seen better." The chief said.
Seth sighed but not in defeat, he looked at the man before he said, "I trust you are an honourable man…" he then said, "I chance upon the body of Battle Beast!"
"I have met many battle beasts. Even Royal beasts!" The man said.
"Roana Prada!" Seth muttered. That piqued the chief interest, "he has been missing," the blood warlock said.
"Well, he has been reborn!" A flash and Little Cub appeared coiled up sleeping, it didn\'t know it was out of the womb.
The blood warlock walked to the young beast and caressed its coat, "Dragon Womb, you have a womb?" He asked.
"Yes!"
"How did you manage to nurture this one with that small power of yours!" He demanded.
"I\'m lucky and resourceful!" Seth said.
The warlock stared at Seth, he knew the boy was weak and no way could support that process.
