The Tycoon's Odyssey

Chapter 238: 238:Surprise

As for those who wanted to hold the stocks for the post-election rally, they could already see a deep shit wrecking them. However, if Evan controlled everything and decided to stop, those bastards who had put everything and manipulated the market might get a chance to fight back. So, he ordered Aurora to bulldoze everything.

As for compensation, with an ample amount of money with him, at the very least he could share a sum in the name of broker malfunction.

As chaos reigned supreme on the trading floor, Aurora meticulously controlled the demat accounts, freezing the entire market within her grasp. The once-thriving world of trading was now a haunting, still landscape, and the implications of her actions rippled through the financial sector.

As the air thickened with uncertainty, the atmosphere on the Rajput\'s trading floor was already charged with fear and uncertainty. But then, as if the situation couldn\'t get any worse, a terrifying jolt hit them all at once. Suddenly, the power-off monitors, which had earlier flickered ominously, sprang to life, illuminating the dark room with a sinister glow.

A sharp, piercing sound of alarm filled the air, startling everyone as their gazes snapped toward the screens. Their hearts sank as they saw it—a massive red candle plummeting down the charts, erasing the earlier gains like a tsunami sweeping away the sandcastles.

The Nifty and Sensex indices, which had been steadily trending upward, were now crashing through support levels as if they were made of paper.

"What the hell is happening?" Jagesh shouted, his voice trembling with disbelief.

Everyone watched in horror as the once-promising green candles transformed into ominous red signals. It felt like a surreal nightmare, and the reality of their precarious positions hit them like a punch to the gut. Their holdings, once teeming with potential profits, were evaporating before their very eyes.

The reports flooded in—major Indian brokers were taking massive hits. Companies like Liance Industries, which had been a beacon of stability, were now spiraling downwards as their stock prices fell sharply, obliterating billions in market capitalization.

The Rajputs, led by Vishal and Jagesh, had heavily backed Liance\'s ventures into renewable energy, but were now left reeling as the shares plummeted by 25% within minutes, wiping out the fortunes of countless retail investors alongside their own.

Raj Motors, too, wasn\'t spared. The automobile giant, once riding high on positive consumer sentiment, saw its shares crash as Aurora\'s influence took hold. Vishal and Jagesh had rallied their resources behind Rajputana\'s latest electric vehicle line, and now those dreams were evaporating as the market sentiment turned against them.

Even the stalwarts of the banking sector were in great turmoil. The State Bank of Indra, heavily involved in funding infrastructure projects that had been expected to drive growth, now found itself in a precarious position.

With its stock plummeting by nearly 20%, the Rajputs, who had heavily invested in these initiatives, faced heavy losses as they saw their investments sinking into worthless assets.

As the carnage unfolded, traders across the floor clutched their heads in disbelief, their screens flashing with warnings of losses accumulating faster than they could process. The panic set in deeper as they watched their accounts drain in real time.

Positions that had been held as a source of pride had now turned into haunting reminders of their folly. And all of this was happening on its own.

The entire system, as if being possessed, executed trade on its own, selling the stocks at lower circuits, liquidating everything they held.

"Look! Our positions are being wiped out!" one of the traders shouted, pointing to the cascading losses being shown on the screen. "We\'re losing everything we possess!"

Jagesh felt his heart sink as he scanned the figures. The reality of the impending catastrophe weighed down heavily on him.

"We need to act! Now!" he yelled, desperately trying to rally the team amidst the ongoing chaos.

"Do something… Do something… you fucker… I didn\'t give you money to just day dill and watch while we are getting fucked up."

"But sir, we are helpless," someone pleaded. Hearing this, Jagesh got enraged as he ripped out the screen before throwing it with an angry roar.

"Son of bitcchhh… I am gonna kill you, whoever is behind this…"

"Vishal, track that motherfucker… I am gonna kill him and cut him into pieces with my own hands!"Jagesh screamed and turned to look at Vishal only to see the fellow standing still with a pale expression.

Jagesh ran towards him, wanting to scream again and snap him out only to notice his trembling hands holding the smartphone.

Just as he was about to ask, he heard a faint murmur from Vishal.

"He… He is behind this."

"Who?" Jagesh demanded.

Vishal didn\'t say anything. He stood motionless, his eyes fixed on the screen as if he was witnessing a ghost.

For some reason, he hallucinated—a wide sinister grin flashed across the monitor.

With such a robust security that they had gotten from Evan, Vishal was certain that no one would be able to breach the firewall. No hacker, no matter how skilled or any country, had been able to penetrate the firewall and reach the system for months.

Thinking of the security\'s robust impenetrable ability, Vishal had used the same program here, so there couldn\'t be anyone except that man who could do this.

As he thought this, Vishal suddenly felt as if he could see a man sitting before him, his legs crossed and sneering at him as if looking down on him and telling him.

"Surprise…Surprise…M*therfucker…"

"Who is it?" Jagesh barked, his face twisting with rage as Vishal remained mum.

Vishal finally snapped out of his thoughts and looked at the angered, pale-faced, Jagesh, who was screaming at him like a mad hound.

"Ev… It\'s Evan…" he muttered.

"Who?"Jagesh shouted as he wasn\'t able to clearly hear his cousin\'s feeble whisper.

"EVAAANNNN!"
