The Tycoon's Odyssey

Chapter 275: 275:Onboard For Reunion

Roy\'s grip on Claire\'s arm tightened as he looked at the men warily. "What if I say no?"

"Then we\'ll have to take you by force, sir," replied the lead man, his tone calm yet firm.

Roy hesitated as his mind worked through the possibilities. These people didn\'t look like ordinary kidnappers, and their strength was evident from the way they carried themselves. He couldn\'t afford to take any chances, especially with Claire at his side.

Noticing Roy\'s hesitation, the leader added, "Sir, we\'re taking you to meet someone close to you. Please, don\'t make this difficult for us. If you resist, we\'ll have to use gas to render you unconscious and bring you anyway."

"Also, it might seem unbelievable, but we mean no harm," he added.

Claire\'s brow furrowed as she shared a quick, anxious glance with Roy. They both knew they were outmatched. After a moment of silent deliberation, Roy reluctantly nodded.

"Fine. We\'ll go," he said, his voice steady but wary.

What Roy decided to do was to take a leap of faith, but it wasn\'t just a blind step—he had already guessed the person behind it.

And if he was right, their reunion was going to happen much sooner than expected.

The mysterious group led them outside, where a black car waited to transport them to the airport in Dilli. After a tense ride, they arrived at the private jet terminal. What awaited them there left both Roy and Claire stunned.

Before them stood a massive Airbus A380, its imposing size dwarfing every other plane around. Unlike the typical models seen in commercial use, this one was different—besides its custom paint job, which included gold stripes and the initials "ARN" emblazoned on the tail, the plane had been heavily modified.

"Wow…" Claire muttered, still processing the sight in front of her.

As if reading her mind, Roy muttered, "This isn\'t just a regular plane."

Claire nodded in agreement. Even from the outside, the modifications were clear. Soon, the massive ramp at the rear of the jet began to lower, allowing their cars to drive straight into the plane\'s cavernous cargo hold. Once the vehicles were inside, the ramp sealed shut, the thud echoing ominously in the quiet terminal.

"I don\'t think commercial airplanes have cargo ramps like that," Claire whispered, glancing up at the towering aircraft.

"No, they don\'t," Roy agreed. "This thing has been reworked top to bottom. Whoever these people are, they\'ve put a lot of thought into this."

As the couple approached the boarding stairs, the attendant leading them mentioned, "This plane has been customized on Nicobar Island. It\'s a state-of-the-art craft."

That piqued Roy\'s interest even further. "Nicobar Island? That\'s not something you hear every day," he muttered.

Claire shot him a glance. "It feels like they\'re hiding something."

The attendant\'s voice cut through their quiet exchange. "Please, board the plane. We\'ll begin our journey shortly."

Once they stepped aboard, the interior of the aircraft was even more impressive compared to its exterior. The decor radiated luxury, but in a way that felt refined and tasteful. There were no flashy displays of wealth, only understated elegance that hinted at the immense power and influence behind whoever owned this plane.

Roy couldn\'t help but feel a mix of awe and unease as he finally sat down. "Are we waiting for anyone else?" he asked the attendant.

"No, sir," she replied. "The others are investigating the attack and will join you later in Utkal."

As they settled into their seats, the jet taxied toward the runway. Despite the massive size of the Airbus A380, the takeoff was smooth. The plane lifted off from Dilli with a quiet hum, effortlessly climbing into the skies.

Roy leaned toward Claire, his voice low. "This isn\'t just any ordinary plane. I\'ve read about these kinds of modifications. This seems to have even been weaponized; they\'ve turned this into a flying fortress. It\'s practically indestructible."

As they boarded, an attendant explained, "It\'s equipped with advanced technology, including a fusion reactor."

Roy\'s interest was piqued. "A fusion reactor? That explains the power and range. It can probably stay airborne indefinitely."

The attendant nodded but offered no more details. Roy knew that a fusion-powered aircraft like this held capabilities far beyond a regular commercial plane. With its state-of-the-art stealth features and reinforced structure, it could rival top military transports like the C-5M Super Galaxy or the Antonov An-124.

Claire nodded, her eyes scanning the luxurious surroundings. "It makes sense now. They\'re using tech far beyond anything we\'ve seen. But why?"

Roy shrugged, a knot of unease growing in his gut. "I don\'t know. But whoever is behind this, they\'ve got enough resources to pull off something huge. And now we\'re a part of it."

As the plane cruised through the skies, Roy and Claire sat in silence, the weight of their situation pressing down on them. The mystery surrounding their captors—and their destination in Utkal loomed large in their minds.

And it was true.

Meanwhile, the massive A380 they were aboard was no ordinary aircraft. It had been rebuilt from the ground up; it began as two planes that had been bought from Transaero, a struggling Russian airline. These planes were then sent to Nicobar, where they were scanned, dismantled, and reconstructed using advanced Magitech technology. On the surface, it resembled a standard A380 with minor modifications, but beneath, it was equipped to handle anything, from fighter jets to the most advanced threats in the sky.

Powering the plane was a miniaturized fusion reactor, capable of generating more electricity than the aircraft would ever consume. The excess power was converted into clean fuel and fed into the plane\'s hybrid engines, allowing it to fly at incredible distances and high speeds without the need for refueling.

The entire plane was also protected by a massive plasma shield, making it practically invincible—even against a nuclear attack.

Moreover, it had top-notch stealth mode—practically rendering it undetectable.

As Roy and Claire stared out the windows, watching the clouds drift by, they couldn\'t shake the feeling that their lives had just taken a drastic turn from which there was no return.
